Summary
Tried Kenny De Meirleir's treatment over about eighteen months, low-dose naltrexone (LDN), a self-help course at Aker University Hospital, and was referred to Mette Johnsgård, before eventually taking a Lightning Process course with follow-up support; De Meirleir gave her only two good weeks in eighteen months despite significant cost, and LDN "helped a little at first, but then the effect wore off." She had been ill for about seven years, unwell enough that she eventually had to stop volunteering for the ME association. After the Lightning Process course she says "I've never been better... I've never been healthier. I exercise, enjoy myself, I live." Two years later she reports still doing well, working full time (100%) and enjoying life, with no relapse mentioned.
