Summary
Started Necator americanus hookworm therapy, beginning with 3 larvae and later trying 5, redosing roughly every 8-12 weeks depending on response, about 11 months in at the time of posting. Individual doses have produced windows of dramatic relief, including almost two weeks of what they call full remission, well enough to ride a bike through the woods for two hours, and another dose that dropped them from severe to mild for about two weeks. The benefit reliably fades after 6-8 weeks and can be followed by a worse "bounce," so repeat dosing continues rather than any lasting baseline shift having been reached. They are explicit this is a personal observation, not a proven treatment, and say they are "still not at the point where I have continuous benefits."
