Summary
Ran a long multi-drug protocol: valganciclovir at 450mg twice daily for a year then a lower maintenance dose for another 8 months, repeated after HHV-6 reactivated again; famciclovir 500mg three times daily for 6 months; gammaglobulin infusions every three weeks for 4 years; and five 1g Rituximab infusions over 9 months. States plainly that "valganciclovir, famciclovir, gammaglobulins, and Rituximab helped me." Notes HHV-6 PCR stayed positive after 3 months of valganciclovir alone and only turned negative once famciclovir was added, suggesting the combination rather than any single drug was what worked.
