Summary
Live Landmark credits the Lightning Process, a three-day course she took in London for 15,000 Norwegian kroner, with her recovery from ME, diagnosed by a neurology professor at Haukeland Hospital who told her "there is no cure." She had been ill for about three years after a bout of angioedema and pneumonia treated with cortisone and antibiotics left her progressively fatigued, feverish and eventually largely bedridden with an eye mask. She describes the course as teaching her that "my brain could trigger automatic unconscious bodily reactions" and training her to stop sending those signals, and says she felt "kind of like before" within a few months. She reports having "been completely healthy" since summer 2007, working full-time, exercising and living an active social life. She went on to train as a Lightning Process instructor herself, teaching more than 1,500 people the method, and the story reports no relapse.
