Summary
Diagnosed with ME/CFS since 2012 and unable to bike or take an extra walk around the house without days of post-exertional malaise, Paul James Parent did a series of liver flushes based on a Gerson-style protocol, substituting a coffee enema on his doctor's slightly altered instructions. He reports his PEM "completely disappeared around the 9th liver flush" of twelve done, after which he regained the ability to bike and estimated roughly 12-15% more energy overall. The post does not give the flush schedule in detail or say how long the improvement had held by the time of writing.
