Summary
She had weekly cognitive therapy and mindfulness sessions with psychologist Carina Poulsen, alongside a self-directed graded walking-then-jogging program, nightly gratitude journaling and sessions with a psychomotor physiotherapist. She had been ill for roughly five years after a "total collapse" on 15 November 2013, at her worst unable to complete a simple clock-drawing test and barely able to walk to the postbox. She says she is now well and working full time, able to walk an hour twice a week and jog for 30 minutes "without falling ill/becoming exhausted for days afterwards." No relapse is described, though she still uses slow breathing techniques on days she feels her body "shaking a bit," and hires a cleaner weekly to manage her energy. She describes it as a gradual, multi-year effort to find "the right balance between activity and rest."
