Summary
Twenty-one years into ME/CFS and on a slow decline, this poster switched to a strict ketogenic diet in October 2016 and six months later reports reactive hypoglycemia, disabling migraines and insomnia resolved, and he can sit upright all day without crashing. Repeat cardiopulmonary exercise testing backs this up objectively: VO2max rose from 19.6 (50% predicted) to 31.2 (80% predicted) with a normalized anaerobic threshold. He calls his state "stable" - light swimming and afternoon office work most days without PEM - while cautioning "I'm not suggesting all your problems will go away if only you change your diet."
Symptoms mentioned
