Summary
Sulforaphane, taken as broccoli extract capsules starting at a low dose and increased gradually to 2.8 grams daily over a three-week trial. The author, who has chronic fatigue syndrome, does not state how long they had been ill or how severe their case was. The main effect noticed was intermittently feeling fairly warm, which they speculated might be a mild "fever effect" described in other research. They concluded they "didn't notice any other significant positive or negative effects" on their ME/CFS symptoms. No relapse applies since no benefit was gained, and no maintenance dosing was continued beyond the three-week trial.
