Shaun Moran's Recovery Story
- Condition
- ME/CFS
- At worst
- Severe (mostly bedbound)
- Ill for
- 10 years
- Published
- May 2024
Summary
Tried an extensive list of alternative treatments over the years - IV vitamin C, ozone therapy, acupuncture, cupping, EFT, homeopathy, matrix re-imprinting, amygdala retraining, qigong, restrictive diets, chiropractic and osteopathic care, hypnotherapy, graded exercise therapy, bio-resonance therapy, mycotoxin/heavy-metal testing and binders, and finally a BEG nasal spray and Dr. John Lieurance's MARCoNS protocol that ended with a tooth extraction. He developed chronic fatigue syndrome at 24, initially able to partly function but later becoming largely housebound and feeling "hopeless and afraid that my life was over," over roughly 10 years of illness. By 2022 he says "I had truly recovered from the insidious condition that is chronic fatigue syndrome," returning to sports, full-time work, and getting married. He credits the tooth extraction tied to the MARCoNS protocol with bringing final relief from residual fatigue. No relapse is mentioned and the story gives no further follow-up beyond this recovery.
