Summary
One hydrocodone/acetaminophen 500/50 tablet at bedtime, combined with Xanax, taken nightly for sleep and pain, with an occasional second dose allowed on the worst days. Reported daytime pain around 2/10 rising to about 6/10 in the evenings, consistent with long-standing chronic pain from her condition. She said this was the only combination that helped her sleep and nightly pain, describing years of stable use without needing to increase the dose. She could not tolerate a higher dose due to side effects but described no downside to her long-term use at this dose. No relapse was reported; this reads as an ongoing maintenance regimen for symptom control rather than a cure.
