Summary
Seven years into ME/CFS with post-exertional fatigue and cognitive dysfunction, she used a CBS-mutation-targeted protocol of activated charcoal, magnesium, molybdenum, manganese and sulfur-food restriction. Cognition "started to clear" within hours of her first charcoal dose, and she was able to stop tyrosine and phenylalanine supplements she'd needed for 2 years, reporting "considerably more energy than I ever had," reduced PEM and better stamina, which she quantified as reaching "75% of my pre-sick best on a good day." The improvement required continued dietary management and carefully separated mineral dosing to avoid triggering overmethylation.
