Summary
Riddle followed the Freddd protocol starting around 2013-14: sublingual methylcobalamin, sublingual dibencozide (adenosylcobalamin), and methylfolate, all taken daily at first and later alternated every other day, plus HCl betaine for digestion, omega oil capsules, vitamin C, other B vitamins, and a period on magnesium since discontinued, while avoiding foods fortified with folic acid. His most troubling symptom had been demyelination, on top of what he describes as a lifetime of chronic health struggles. He recovered roughly three to four years after starting the protocol, though IBS remains his main lingering symptom, and he now describes himself, as a pensioner, as "healthier than I ever have done before in my life." The improvement has required ongoing maintenance dosing -- he still alternates methylfolate and methylcobalamin every other day -- and has held for more than a decade since he started.
