Summary

Diclofenac was taken as a 75 mg slow-release tablet, later increased to twice daily, after 32 years of living with ME. Both pain and fatigue improved substantially and he felt he had essentially recovered while on it. After an unspecified period the effect stopped working just as suddenly as it had started, and he then developed an allergic reaction to the drug with breathing problems. Following that, his condition worsened severely and he became bed-bound and very ill again. No maintenance or replacement treatment is mentioned.
