Summary
Was diagnosed with ME/CFS first, then four years later diagnosed with Lyme disease and treated with a combination of pharmaceutical and herbal antibiotics under a Lyme specialist, and separately started cholestyramine with EPA/DHA fish oil after also discovering mold sensitivity. The cholestyramine caused severe side effects about 30 minutes after each dose, including burning sensations, facial flushing, profuse sweating and claustrophobia, so she cut back from four doses a day to two. Says the Lyme treatment worked and she got back to her normal baseline of illness with ME/CFS afterward, meaning it resolved the Lyme layer without resolving the underlying ME/CFS. Was still addressing the newly discovered mold component with no final outcome confirmed in the thread.
