Summary
Started Bulletproof brand activated charcoal, prescribed by Dr. Vera at Dr. Klimas's clinic, for suspected CIRS on top of ME/CFS, for about 3.5 weeks by the time of this post. Was already dealing with loose stools and malabsorption concerns beforehand. Reports the charcoal made her GI symptoms worse, with worsening loose stools, dry heaves and green-tinged stool, the opposite of the black stool she had been told to expect. Was questioning whether she could tolerate the binder at all, with no resolution given in the thread.
