Summary
Doug, misdiagnosed for 7 of his 11 sick years before Chlamydia pneumoniae and EBV were identified, took inosine alone for a couple of short stretches with limited effect, then added DMAE about 1.5 years before posting; he described the fog lifting and feeling he'd "crawled out of a deep black hole." A year later he reported no relapse, able to work long hours, drink alcohol and exercise without rebound exhaustion, though he combined the supplements with antibiotics, vitamins, herbals and yoga, making the DMAE/inosine contribution hard to isolate.
