Summary
Managed long COVID mainly through pacing with a heart rate monitor, gentle yoga and light cycling, unspecified supplements, a COVID booster vaccination, and a psychological reframing approach inspired by Professor Paul Garner's published recovery account. He developed long COVID after an infection in October 2023, progressing from exercise intolerance and fatigue to being unable to work full time, with daily panic attacks, brain fog, blurred vision and heart palpitations that forced four weeks off work at his lowest point. By around April 2025, roughly 18 months in, he writes "I consider myself recovered," noting his fitness isn't quite what it was pre-Covid but is steadily returning and his symptoms are now minimal. He still gets occasional dizziness, blurred vision and palpitations but says these "pass quickly" and he has learned not to fear them. No relapse is reported in the story.
