Summary
Ivermectin, taken in an initial course of five doses, was tried by someone with a chronic multi-symptom illness (brain fog, muscle aches, fatigue, chemical sensitivities) dating to 1981, based on a hypothesis of ongoing parasitic infection. After the initial doses their brain fog improved by a degree and itching was reduced. They report continuing to take it for the ongoing parasite hypothesis rather than having stopped. No full resolution or relapse is described, and no further outcome beyond continued use is given.
